"Morinus" School of Astrology

Graduates of "Morinus" School of Astrology agree to observe the following criteria in the undertaking of all their astrological work:.

(a) To ensure that a client is fully informed about the working methods, the duration and nature of the consultation(s), and the associated fees before any work is undertaken.

(b) To ensure that potential clients whose needs exceed the competence of an individual astrologer are referred to the appropriate professionals or agencies.

(c) Refraining from offering a client medical, legal, or financial advice on astrological grounds unless the astrologer possesses the necessary skills and qualifications in these areas.

(d) To refrain from making public comments or predictions regarding the personal life of public figures, including their state of health. Any comments about public figures should focus solely on the roles for which they are known and should not be expressed in a manner that could bring astrology or the "Morinus" school into disrepute.

(e) To maintain the highest standards in all predictions and avoid popular public forecasts for all zodiac signs or general recommendations that are not based on an individual natal chart, a mundane chart of a specific location, or a horary chart of a particular question.

(f) To refrain from behavior that could bring astrology or the "Morinus" School into disrepute.

(g) To ensure complete anonymity of clients when publishing or publicly using (including for research and educational purposes) materials related to them unless the client consents otherwise. Anonymization implies concealing any details that could identify the client, including their name, date, and place of birth, among other information.

(h) To take measures (including technical ones) to protect the confidentiality of the client's data and all materials related to the client.

Client's Expectation Management

The "Morinus" School recommends that its graduates inform clients of the following:

  1. Provide a brief and general explanation of predictive astrology, its potential results, and its purpose (e.g., risk avoidance, effective use of upcoming opportunities) to ensure clients have realistic expectations of your work.
  2. Explain the limitations of the methods used, such as astrology not predicting specific dimensions (e.g., the depth at which an object will be found) or natal astrology being unable to forecast the outcome of a football match to avoid excessive expectations from your consultation.
  3. Emphasize the importance of context, explaining that predictions overlay symbolic language on the specific details of the client's current real-life situation, offering a balance of probabilities rather than certainties.
  4. Clarify that you will warn of potential future events but will not provide advice or instructions on using this information.
  5. Clearly describe the services to be provided, including the associated fees.
  6. In the case of horary questions, establish the radicality of the chart and the possibility of conducting a consultation based on it before accepting payment.
