Astromagic refers to rituals and ceremonies aimed at changing events outlined in the natal chart. It is most commonly used to enhance positive aspects or prevent dangers.

However, verifying the effectiveness of astromagic is virtually impossible. For example, if a horoscope predicts favorable events (such as marriage or career growth) and they happen, it’s impossible to tell whether this occurred because of the rituals or according to fate.

On the other hand, if a disaster is predicted (such as illness or an accident) and it does not occur, it’s unclear whether the rituals helped or if the conditions for the event simply did not materialize. This makes the field of astromagic unverifiable and a matter of personal belief. For this reason, we have initially chosen to abandon such practices.

In the past, our school did offer a course in astro-correction, but we have also stopped offering it.

What is Astro-correction?

Astro-correction is the work with mental scenarios in a controlled environment. For example, if the natal chart indicates conflicts in relationships, it might manifest as transferring parental traumas onto a partner. Astro-correction helps identify a controlled space where this energy can be redirected. For instance, it might be found that to prevent conflict, you could sign up for a fencing class to release tension. This would avoid the conflict but does not resolve the underlying issue of distorted perception of the partner.

Such techniques can be applied to various aspects of life—financial difficulties, career challenges, or raising children.

Why We Stopped Using It

Years of observation have shown that direct influence on events works best. For example, if you’re starting a business and the horary chart predicts the project’s failure in six months, it’s easier to change the context—start looking for a job and avoid the collapse of your business.

If the natal chart indicates a risk of an accident, you can simply avoid driving on those days. If the goal is to reduce the desire for risk and adrenaline-seeking, professional psychology can help.

Thus, targeted influence on the flow of events, combined with changes in habits, proves to be more effective than astromagic or astro-correction. This is why we no longer use them.

Conclusion

The strength of astrology lies in forecasting. By knowing future dates and events, you can avoid misfortune or enhance success through simple actions. The key is to know which days to act on and in what direction. This knowledge is provided by the astrologer.
