This article will examine a real-life example of a future relationship forecast performed using Renaissance-era horary astrology techniques. You will see how it is possible to predict infidelity and divorce 2.5 months before the actual events.

The Horary Chart
A man asks whether his close friend is sleeping with his wife. Before us is a horary chart that shows the development of a specific life situation—whether there is infidelity or not and what it will lead to.
Assessing Radicality
First, we must determine whether the chart is radical, that is, whether it reflects the development of the current situation. To do this, we will compare the man's feelings, as seen in the chart, with what is troubling him according to his version.
Since the question concerns the friend and the wife, we expect the chart to highlight either the 11th house of the friend or the 7th house of the wife. Indeed, even visually, it is clear that the 11th house is highlighted in this horoscope (The "Olga" horary app performs this analysis). It makes sense: both of the man's significators—the Moon (emotions) and the Part of Fortune (the essence of the question)—are under the dominion of Jupiter, the ruler of the 11th house, i.e., the friend.
According to the chart, the client is consumed by thoughts about his friend (in connection with his wife). This is the only thing troubling the man, which aligns with his words. Therefore, the chart is radical and contains the answer to the question posed. We can confidently proceed to the forecast.

Reception Technique: Assessing Feelings
As you may recall, we introduce universal significators for men and women in relationship questions: the Sun and Venus. Thus, the man is represented by the Moon and the Sun, while Saturn and Venus represent the wife.
Let's examine the receptions—they show the current feelings between people. Jupiter, a close friend, is in the dignity of two planets—Saturn and Venus. He "loves" these planets. Note that both these planets represent the wife: Saturn is the ruler of the 7th house, i.e., the wife as a person, and Venus is the wife as a woman. So, there is no doubt that the close friend loves the wife.
And this is mutual: Saturn (the wife as a person) is in the dignity of Jupiter (the friend). In return, she loves the querent's friend, which is an alarming sign.
Planetary Conjunction—The Union of Two Bodies
But this is just a sign, not proof: the fact that two people have mutual feelings does not necessarily mean they are sleeping together. To prove infidelity, we need to see a close conjunction (coitus) between two planets.
It could be a bodily or antiscion conjunction, but there is no such connection in the chart. The friend and the querent's wife are flirting with each other, but there is no sex between them. We could stop our consultation here and limit ourselves to this dry answer. But we can look deeper into the chart to uncover hidden details.
Let's take our forecast to the next level of detailisation. Look at the wife's Venus: she loves Jupiter as a person (with her Saturn), but as a woman, she rejects him. Venus is in the sign of Jupiter's exile.
But why is this? What prominently happens to Venus that makes her reject Jupiter's attention? Look, Venus is conjunct Mars. If a planet, especially a gendered one, conjuncts a third planet in a relationship question, it almost always signifies a union (coitus) with another person. So yes, the wife has a lover, represented by Mars. Mars is another man, not the client's close friend.
Antiscia—The Hidden Becomes Revealed
Saturn, i.e., the wife, is in her 12th house of secrets and hidden matters (note that the 6th house is the 12th from the 7th). The wife is desperately hiding something from her husband. And now we know this secret.
Let's look at the antiscion: it shows a hidden conjunction of a planet. Saturn (the wife) conjuncts the cusp of the 7th house, i.e., the 1st house of the wife. The wife is hiding her secret in her room, not elsewhere. There is a high probability that this literally means a secret affair happening right in the wife's bedroom, not in a nearby hotel. That is, the lover visits her home rather than her going to him.
Aspects: The Dynamics of Events
Now, let's move to the next level of the forecast details and see what will happen next. The Moon (i.e., the husband) will soon oppose the conjunction of Venus and Mars (i.e., this sweet couple, entwined in ecstasy). This means the client will confront his wife and her lover while they are having sex. Where will this happen? We already know that the wife will most likely invite her lover to her home. Therefore, the client will catch them both when he returns home. In the context of the husband returning from a business trip, there are no other options.

Fixed Stars Add to the Picture
Opposition in a relationship question always signifies conflict or divorce. Both conflict and divorce are quite possible under these circumstances. So, what should we expect—conflict or divorce? Let's find additional details in the fixed stars. If a person's significator conjuncts a fixed star whose meaning aligns with the context, the star adds further information to the forecast.
Look at the Sun, the husband's planet: it conjuncts Vindemiatrix, the star of divorce. This immediately clarifies the meaning of the opposition: it portends divorce. Who will initiate the divorce—the husband or the wife? Vindemiatrix conjuncts the Sun, the husband's planet, not the wife's. Therefore, the husband, not the wife, will initiate the divorce.
When Will These Events Occur?
The Moon (i.e., the husband) catches this couple entwined in union on the opposition in 2.5 units of time. On the other hand, the Sun's opposition in 2.5 degrees will reach 13° Aries, a place where the antiscion of Venus—the wife's main secret—is located. So, the husband will catch this couple and reveal the secret in 2.5 degrees. Usually, the chart does not show the timing if the timing is not part of the question. However, if there are several coinciding timing indications of the same event, this is a sure sign that the chart points to the date of the future event. We have two consistent indications, so this is the case. In the context of the situation where the husband goes on long business trips, we are talking about 2.5 months.
Thus, we know that the husband will catch his wife with her lover when he returns home in 2.5 months.
So, our forecast includes the following details:
- First, the close friend is not sleeping with the wife.
- Second, the wife has another lover.
- Third, in 2.5 months, at the end of November, the man will return home and catch his wife with her lover.
- And finally, shortly after that, he will file for divorce.
The last three points were not part of the question and could have upset the client, so the only answer given to the man was: "Your friend is not sleeping with your wife."
However, I made this forecast publicly during a lecture (recorded on camera in early October). I named all the details as described here, so all the students in the lecture were awaiting the outcome.
The Result
The forecast was fulfilled. After 2.5 months, on November 26, the man returned from his business trip earlier than expected and caught his wife with her lover. It was not his friend but an unknown man. Shortly after, he filed for divorce, and on January 15, they officially divorced.
